About

For your health, safety and enjoyment, for the time being, Wendy's bespoke food experiences will take place al fresco in their bonnie seaside kitchen garden. Friends can enjoy a relaxing foodie experience together, safe in the knowledge they have the exclusive booking for that day.

Wendy is a cook, campaigner, food writer and educator. Scottish Thistle Award Regional Ambassador 2018/2019. Inspired to collaborate with artisan producers and like-minded chefs, Wendy established her award-winning quality assured guide www.scottishfoodguide.scot with its associated Scottish Cheese Trail and Scottish Farm Shops in 2002. A regular contributor on media platforms, Wendy writes cookbooks, blogs and commissioned articles, networking with chefs in Scotland and Scandinavia. She has spoken at numerous conferences on food tourism, cheese and local food production, including guest speaker at Nordic Terra Madre, Copenhagen, and Women in Tourism, Kristianstad.

She arranges bespoke food journeys for international travellers and runs workshops on food tourism, artisan cheese, Slow Food Ark of Taste and a range of ethical food experiences at their studio in Fife.

Dedicated to biodiversity and food heritage, Wendy is Scotland’s Leader for Slow Food Ark of Taste, Cooks Alliance Member and published North Ronaldsay Sheep: Scotland’s First Slow Food Presidium.  Her husband Bosse is a Swedish expert in heritage farming and breeds. Together they have a depth of knowledge of Scottish and Nordic food culture.
